Prior at origin

This is a preliminary inspection of the goods in the country of origin, before loading them into containers, which is coordinated at the supplier’s facilities.

Through our specialized supplier, we verify that the goods transported in the containers are those declared in the documentation, detecting irregularities and inconsistencies in the composition of the shipment.

It allows us to obtain additional information for the validation of tariff classifications, as well as compliance with non-tariff restrictions and regulations and NOMs to be declared in the import declaration.

Once compliance with all the parameters required by the Customs Agent has been validated through the prior report at origin, it is possible to access the authorization for omission of prior report at the port of destination, speeding up the clearance of goods at Mexican Ports and Customs.
